This administration has given up the pretense of freedom

Market freedoms used to be at least something the GOP would give lip service to. The government regulating what we get in our search results is such an absurd notion in a free country. How is this any different than China's Geen Dam?

Texas Voter Choice

Texans for Voter Choice is a non-partisan coalition organized in support of the Texas Voter Choice Act. We believe voters—not private parties or incumbent politicians — should decide who gets elected to public office. That’s where we step up. The Texas Voter Choice Act provides voters with more meaningful choices on Election Day by dismantling the unnecessary barriers that make it so hard for qualified candidates to appear on the ballot in Texas.

Flame of the Future Regale

This coming Labor Day, the Kerry McKennon campaign is throwing a soiree banquet dinner at the beautiful Haak Winery and Vineyards in Santa Fe, Texas. Come dressed to impress in your favorite cocktail attire and enjoy live music and wine throughout the night!

The night will feature esteemed libertarian speakers, such as: Mark Tippets (who is our candidate for Governor), Neal Dikeman (our candidate for Senate), Lauren LaCount (our candate for Texas Senate district 17), Don Conley (our candidate for Congress district 14), Richard Illyes (our candidate for Texas House district 24), Paul Bilyeu (our candidate for Texas House), Mike Wright (our candidate for Railroad Commissioner), Mark Ash (our candidate for Criminal Court of Appeals), and of course Kerry McKennon – our candidate for Lieutenant Governor!

Tickets will start at $15 for the Torch Bearer’s Summit, which will get you hors d’oeuvres and a ticket to listen to the speakers plus Texas soul band, Kites, in the pavilion. The Vanguard Soiree price is $60 and this tier will allow you to have a one-on-one with the speakers while enjoying a world-class buffet in the beautiful wine cellar and listening to tempered piano music.

There will be a silent auction with items donated by people across the field. You will have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind art created especially for the Flame of the Future Regale, as well as personally autographed memorabilia. Unique items from other candidates in LP Texas will be available for auction in support of their campaigns.

This will be a wonderful night of fun and fantastic conversation! It will be a unique opportunity to rub elbows with other like-minded folks and create new friendships in the Libertarian Party, and it’s a great way for you to meet the people who have stepped forward to run for office and represent you for liberty!

Pork Barrel Spending

There is no fiscally responsible party in government. This is not the way to run good government nor is it sustainable.

Texas Immigration Detention Company Support Texas Politicians

Donors do not automatically mean influence, but it is interesting to see who is donating to whom. I would avoid taking money from people have very specific interest in passing legislation that benefits them.

Humorous look at a not so funny subject: Debt

Andrew Heaton is a great Libertarian that puts this problem in humorous perspective.

End the Jones Act

Puerto Rico suffers unnecessarily under this old corporatist law. This is not the role of government and an interference with a free market.

Our tax burden is a monster

The true cost of what government takes is often hidden. Government has learned how to hide it well. Payroll taxes that are payed by our employers for hiring us. Our withholding. Sales taxes. Fees. Its more than you realize.
